When I am traveling, I try not to live through the lens of the camera, rather I draw or paint the amazing places we are fortunate to visit in order to really take in the view, the atmosphere and the vibe of the thing (watch the amazing Australian movie The Castle if you are not familiar with this term). I also make very basic maps and stories of our journies and events that take place as a means of visually journaling my experiences, including rough road drawings to give you a feel of the experience. Happy travels.
