Leaves remind me of the human form and existence in many ways. Leaves have intricate paths, veins, and structures to feed and hold the leaf creating unique maps and shapes. The main source of nourishment depends on the environment and the availability of nutrients. The exterior of the leaf is also so unique as no leaf from the same tree is alike though shows distinct hereditary traits, for want of a better term, determined by the plant species genes that have been passed down from seed to seed. By focusing on the shapes formed by the leaf structure, the negative becomes positive when it is removed from the leaf. Leaves are delicate, beautiful, and full of detail. What is not to love?
